PU - Heat Transfer Vinyl - Custom Length

Add colour and a smooth matte finish to your fabric projects with our PU Heat Transfer Vinyl. This durable vinyl is ideal for creating logos, names, letters, numbers and custom designs on clothing, bags and other suitable fabric items.

The vinyl comes on a clear, glossy carrier sheet that holds your design in place during application. Once pressed and peeled, your design has a matte finish.

Choose individual sheets or continuous length

Individual sheets
Each sheet measures 30.5 cm × 30.5 cm (12″ × 12″). Select your colour and the number of sheets you need, leaving the ‘Continuous Length’ checkbox unticked.

Continuous length
For a longer piece, select your colour, enter a quantity of two or more sheets, and tick the ‘Continuous Length’ checkbox beneath the quantity selector before adding the product to your cart.

Each quantity unit adds 30.5 cm of length, while the width remains 30.5 cm. Where possible, we’ll supply your selected quantity of the same colour as one continuous piece.

Cutting and pressing recommendations

Select an appropriate heat transfer vinyl or iron-on setting on your cutting machine. Always complete a small test cut first. Results can vary depending on your machine, blade condition and design, so adjust your settings if needed.

Pressing settings are a guide and may vary depending on your heat press and fabric. Check that your item is suitable for the application temperature before pressing.

How to cut and apply

1. Cut your design: Place a piece of vinyl sized to fit your cutting mat with the clear, shiny carrier side facing down. Mirror your design before cutting. Cut through the vinyl layer while leaving the carrier sheet intact.
2. Weed: Remove the excess vinyl, leaving your design on the clear carrier sheet.
3. Position your design: Lay your item flat and place the design with the vinyl against the fabric and the clear carrier sheet facing up. The carrier holds your design together, so separate transfer tape is not required.
4. Heat press: Apply your design using the temperature and time in the pressing guide above.
5. Cool and peel: Allow the design to cool before peeling the clear carrier sheet away.

Care instructions

• Wait at least 24 hours after application before washing your item.
• Turn your item inside out when washing, where possible.
• Use a gentle machine wash or hand wash in cool water. Do not use a hot wash.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not iron directly onto the vinyl. Turn your garment inside out before ironing.
